Auburn — Application

Carbon Black

Auburn's induction particulate-sensing technology has its origins in the carbon black industry of the 1990s. The very first field trial ran on the outlet of a baghouse at a carbon black processing plant.

Carbon black remains a demanding application because the material is tenaciously adherent and highly conductive. Even so, Auburn particulate monitors have proven to be the most reliable technology available for it — across paint and pigment, reinforcement, tire, absorbent and printer-toner applications.

What Auburn delivers

Reliable instruments, intelligent controls and regulatory-compliance consultation that together reduce emissions, minimize emergency downtime and increase plant profitability.
