The halstrup-walcher PSxHub-S is an intelligent, active bus component designed to modularize modern machine layouts by providing a centralized hub for power and data transmission. Specially engineered to manage up to 10 positioning systems simultaneously, this gateway is optimized for the parallel operation of PSD 4xx and PSx 3xx drive families utilizing IO-Link. By integrating directly into control cabinets via standard DIN-rail mounting, it significantly simplifies mechanical design and cabling overhead while relieving processing pressure on the primary PLC. With built-in cluster functionality, synchronization monitoring to prevent axis tilting, and integrated protection circuits per port, it offers a robust, space-saving solution for fast format changeovers in packaging, labeling, and industrial automation machinery.
