Temperature and Humidity Transmitters
Measure relative humidity and temperature with one device, for rooms, ducts and outdoor use.
A temperature humidity transmitter measures both values with one device, saving a second sensor and a second cable run. This page lists our full range: the outdoor KLU 100, duct KLK, room RTX-RH and KLH, touchscreen RTX-D-RH, and the Shinko Rh+T wet and dry bulb transmitter.

Temperature and Humidity Transmitters Guide
The temperature humidity transmitter range
- KLU 100: for outdoor and demanding conditions. Its longer probe reduces the temperature error caused by heat from the electronics, with one humidity and one temperature output that can be set separately.
- KLK: measures humidity and temperature inside ventilation ducts, giving one reading for the whole duct.
- KLH: measures room humidity and temperature for general building control.
- RTX-RH: a room transmitter with temperature, humidity and VOC, plus motion detection (PIR), for rooms that need more than a basic reading.
- RTX-D-RH: a touchscreen room transmitter with a 2.8 inch display, so occupants can see conditions directly.
- Shinko Rh+T: a wet and dry bulb transmitter for applications that specifically need that measurement method rather than a capacitive sensor.
How to choose a temperature humidity transmitter
- Mounting location: outdoor (KLU 100), duct (KLK) or room (KLH, RTX-RH, RTX-D-RH).
- Extras: decide on a display, VOC sensing or occupancy detection.
- Separate outputs: check if the controller needs the humidity and temperature outputs set separately, which the KLU 100 allows.
- Output signal: confirm what your BMS or controller expects, since not every model on this page offers the same choice of outputs.

FAQ
Common questions
Why does probe length matter on an outdoor humidity transmitter?
The electronics inside a transmitter give off a small amount of heat, which can warm the sensor and skew the reading. A longer probe, like the KLU 100's, keeps the humidity and temperature sensor further from that heat source, which keeps outdoor readings more accurate.
Can I set the humidity and temperature outputs separately?
On the KLU 100 you can select the output signal mode separately for the humidity channel and the temperature channel, which gives flexibility when the two readings need to go to different inputs on your BMS or controller.
Which temperature humidity transmitter is for ducts?
The Produal KLK, which measures humidity and temperature inside ventilation ducts. It gives one reading for the duct rather than a room-by-room value, which suits monitoring the supply or return air of an air handling unit.
What extra measurements can a room humidity transmitter add?
The RTX-RH adds VOC measurement and motion detection (PIR) alongside temperature and humidity, so one device can cover several readings for a room. The simpler KLH measures only room humidity and temperature.
How is a wet and dry bulb transmitter different from a capacitive one?
A wet and dry bulb transmitter, such as the Shinko Rh+T, calculates humidity from the cooling effect of evaporation on a wet sensor compared with a dry one. A capacitive transmitter, used in the rest of this range, senses humidity directly through a polymer that absorbs moisture.
