Product Overview
EXcell 251 is a high-precision digital NIR backscatter sensor for monitoring biomass in biotech, food and pharmaceutical production. It has a standardised 12 mm stainless steel body, a wear-free sapphire window and an integrated digital amplifier, so it fits the same ports and process holders as a standard pH sensor.
It measures cell concentration continuously inside the vessel, so process teams can track growth through a batch without taking samples. It is autoclavable, CIP/SIP-capable and compatible with retractable housings for automated cleaning.
