Product Overview
The Sanitary RTD temperature sensor is specifically engineered for hygienic food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology processing environments. Featuring an industry-standard 1/1.5" (50.4 mm) Tri-Clover clamp connection (TC50), it ensures clean-in-place (CIP) and steam-in-place (SIP) compatibility without crevices or dead zones.
Constructed with an IP67 weatherproof cast aluminum terminal head and a premium SS316L stainless steel probe, the sensor provides excellent corrosion resistance and thermal responsiveness. An optional reduced tip geometry delivers rapid thermal response times in dynamic sanitary fluid systems.
Available in Pt100 and Pt1000 configurations (Simplex and Duplex, 3-wire/4-wire) covering temperatures from -50°C to 250°C (-58°F to 482°F) with Class A accuracy. The unit can be configured with a DIN B head-mounted 4-20 mA transmitter featuring wireless NFC smartphone calibration and is available with NABL accredited calibration certification.
