The Chemitec S461 S is an advanced infrared suspended solids sensor designed for reliable, optical concentration measurement in municipal wastewater and industrial water applications. Utilizing an infrared pulsing beam method, the sensor is ideal for monitoring active sludge (from 0 to 30 g/l) and Kaolin configurations (from 0 to 100 g/l). A key technical advantage is the internal pre-processing of measured values directly within the sensor body, which significantly minimizes signal transmission sensitivity and guards against external interference. Built with a rugged 316 stainless steel casing (with optional PVC execution), special epoxy optical windows, and Viton O-rings, the S461 S features no moving mechanical components.
