Wireless Proxima Mesh 2.4 GHz Overview
Proxima® MESH is Produal's wireless network for building automation. Each device joins the mesh and sends its readings to a base station.
Components
- WBU base station: collects readings from the network and outputs them via Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP or six analogue outputs.
- WTR transmitter: a battery-operated indoor temperature transmitter.
- WTR24 transmitter: an indoor temperature transmitter powered by 24 V.
- WTR-IM input module: reads three inputs and also measures temperature and humidity.
Building a network
Start with a WBU base station, add a transmitter for each measuring point, and use input modules to bring in existing signals. If the WBU is mounted in a steel cabinet, add the WA-AS1 antenna extension from Wireless Transmitter Accessories.
