HVAC Wireless Transmitters Overview
Adding sensors to an occupied building is often the most expensive part of a BMS upgrade: ceilings opened, cables pulled, walls repainted. Wireless transmitters avoid most of that.
Where wireless makes sense
- BMS retrofits in offices, hotels and hospitals

The Proxima system
Produal's Proxima® MESH transmitters measure room temperature and send it to a WBU base station, which connects to the BMS over Modbus or analogue outputs. The WTR-IM input module brings three existing inputs into the network, and the WA-AS1 antenna extends coverage from a steel panel.

Common questions
Can I mix wired and wireless sensors?
Yes. Wireless readings reach the BMS through the WBU base station like any other Modbus or analogue point, alongside your wired sensors.
Should I choose the WTR or the WTR24?
The WTR is battery-powered for spaces with no power nearby. The WTR24 runs on 24 V where a supply is available.
What do you need to plan a system?
A floor plan, the number of measuring points and the location of the BMS panel. We'll suggest the number and position of base stations.
