HVAC Building Controllers Overview
Building controllers make local decisions: they read room sensors, compare them with setpoints and drive valves, dampers and fans, while reporting to the BMS. Produal offers two families.
Room controllers (HLS 44)
Individual room temperature and VAV control, connected to any Modbus RTU system over a galvanically isolated RS-485 bus. The HLS 44-CO2 adds a built-in CO2 sensor for demand-controlled ventilation, and the HLS 44-SE drives 0 to 10 V or PWM actuators and fan speed. See Room Controllers HLS 44.
Control units (Proxima CU and CU-LH)
Multifunctional units for more advanced room and zone control. The CU supports Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, BACnet MS/TP and BACnet IP and can control two rooms; the CU-LH-MOD uses Modbus RTU. Their inputs and outputs are multifunctional, for heating, cooling, 6-way valves, 3-point actuators and fan speed. See Proxima Room & Zone Control Units.

Choose the HLS 44 for straightforward room control; choose Proxima for zones, more I/O or BACnet.
