HVAC Temperature Transmitters Overview
The BMS needs accurate temperatures from rooms, ducts, pipes and outdoors to run heating, cooling and ventilation efficiently. Produal's LL series transmitters send these readings as a standard signal, and their settings can be changed on site with the ML-SER commissioning tool.

Transmitter or passive sensor?
Use a transmitter when the cable to the controller is long or the controller needs a 4 to 20 mA signal. For short runs to a controller with resistance inputs, a passive sensor is simpler. See Passive Temperature Sensors for BMS.
